BTV9, also known as
Bridgewater Television is a volunteer-based, non-profit enterprise dedicated
to serving the Bridgewater community by providing local programming, citizen
access to the local television production facilities, and the education
to use those facilities.
BTV produces and broadcasts local original and bicycled programming over cable channel 9, and also assists in providing support for the Government Access Channel 22 with town government and school committee meetings. BTV is funded by the Bridgewater subscribers of Comcast. Responsible for the disbursement of funds and setting policies and procedures is the BTV Access Corporation, all-volunteer Board Of Directors: Paul Holmes-President; John Myers-Vice President; Ralph Dodge-Treasurer; Mike Moriello-Clerk; Bob Ladd, Jabbar Al-Obaidi, & Peter Murray-Members. BTV9 is a volunteer driven production facility and is regularly seeking residents from the community to participate in coverage of public meetings, sports events, school concerts, special events, and much more. We also encourage volunteer production of production of programs at out state of the art studios. Equipment and training is provided free of charge.
